A study conducted at Jaypee Greens’ ‘Wish Town Klassic’ project in Noida, India, compared using lap splices and couplers in 14 columns. The analysis showed that couplers effectively saved a significant amount of money. The total cost of the couplers was rs. 42,840, which was significantly less than the estimated cost of lap splices. This case study highlights the economic and structural advantages of mechanical splices.
